    Hello crafty friends, Jessie here to share a couple of cards I made for the elders in a nursing home. They are people who have no family and live alone. A nice girl in a FB group organized this event to send homemade cards to them to comfort and cheer them up during Chinese New Year. I thought this is a wonderful chance to spread out our warm and cozy love to the elder.

    Since Chinese New Year is around the corner, and these cards are for the elders, I wanted to make them very Chinese style. 

    For my first card, I used two stamp sets designed by a Taiwan's local shop called Sabelina.  They made a few great Chinese Style clear stamps, which I love but are seldom used. I stamped some birds and flowers images on my card panel with MFT black hybrid ink pad, and then I water-colored the images with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor 24 color set. After that I stamped Happy Chinese New Year image with versa mark ink, gold embossed with my heat gun.

    I used the same stamp sets to create my second card. I stamped the central image with versa mark ink on my red card base directly, gold embossed with my heat tool. And then I continued stamping with versa mark ink.

    I also stamped some teeny tiny roses with my PTI Pure Poppy ink pad to make some tone on tone effect.

    And my last card took me the most time to design. I spent about 3-4 days to create the whole card from start to finish.

    I used my silhouette cameo to design the image and cut it out. And because I'm not so good at using my cameo, the cut-out image was actually not what I wanted at the beginning. I decided to keep going and see what I'll come up with. Here's what I ended up with.

    It ended up as my favorite one. I backed it with a piece of glitter cardstock, embellished with a few flat back pearls and gold paint marker along the circle. I then glued the cut-out to a 4.25" by 4.25" pattern paper from Basic Grey.

    I layered a piece of red cardstock inside my card base, embellished with gold stickers at the 4 corner.

    今天要跟大家分享幾張賀年卡。彩印在台灣的朋友發起送愛心到老人之家的活動，以150張手作的賀年卡片為目標請大家自由認領數量，然後再寄給老人之家。因為希望能參與這個有意義的活動，加上剛好處於工作遇到一些挫折及創作低潮，也希望能藉此慢慢恢復手作抒壓的目的，不敢貪多，只認領了三張。

    這幾張卡片的設計是基於中國傳統春節，送卡片的對象是老人，所以設計的方向偏向中國風。第一張是利用莎貝麗娜的中國風水晶章，先在中間留下"恭賀新禧"的空間，可以利用2H鉛筆先大致留好位置後蓋印，蓋好圖案之後以水彩上色，這裡要注意蓋用印的印台要用防水的，不然水彩一上圖案就會糊掉。市面上適合水彩用的印台有Staze On油性印台, Archival防水印台, Hybrid防水印台，我用的是MFT家的Hybrid印台。

  用吳竹的24色水彩上色之後，用浮水印台在卡片中間蓋上"新年賀禧"的圖案，撒上金色的燙凸粉加熱燙凸。

    第二張卡片也是用莎貝莉娜的水晶章。這一次先把中間的"福"蓋好後燙凸，再以浮水印台蓋其他的圖案。這次不燙凸，純粹做浮水印的效果，期間點綴幾朵紅色的小花，免得整張卡片太平淡。在卡紙上以與卡片同顏色(或接近色)的印台蓋印的方式就叫tone on tone.

    最後以金質貼紙在卡片的角落點綴一下就完成了。

    第三張卡片是我花最多時間做的卡片，從設計到完成大概花了3-4天。一開始就設定要搬出很久沒使用的切割機(silhouette cameo)，先goole一下公雞的圖案，找了幾個喜歡的圖來備用。在cameo軟體上設計好大致的圖案後，把圖案用紅色的卡紙切割下來。

    其實因為很久沒用切割機了，在設計的時候沒注意到一些細節，等圖案切出來後才發現切割的效果不是我想要的，但秉持著不浪費的想法，切都切了，繼續接著做看看，不滿意再說。於是最後的成品變成這樣。

    熟悉cameo的人大概可以發現我一開始的設計是除了圖案的輪廓之外還想要把細節都切出來的，可惜設定錯誤所以切出來的只有輪廓了~~~~囧    本來是想要修改後重切一次的，奈何工程浩大，時間有限，於是只好將錯就錯了。

Project Share / Another Flipbook Using Heidi Swapp September Sky Colllection & MHC#16

Hello, crafty friends, I hope you all had a great weekend. I've been addicted to making flipbooks lately, so I made another flipbook to share today featuring Heidi Swapp September Sky collection. I love this collection so much that I have to hoard both 12 inch and 6 inch paper stack, along with coordinating die-cut shapes, sticker, stamp set and color shine sprays. XD

In this project, I used mint, gold, gray and soft pink as my color scheme. I also followed Tmika's tutorial showing how to use 4 envelopes to make a base.

See how beautiful it is when mint and gold and glitter meet together.

On the fist page, I used MFT die to cut several letters from a glitter cardstock, stamped "Darling" from Amy Tangerine's stamp set and decorated the page with washi tape and die-cut shapes from September Sky collection. I made two extra pages between the 1st and 2nd page with a clear cardstock and journaling cards, decorating with some washi and glitter tape. 

The stickers on the right flip page are cut out from a washi tape designed by a Taiwan's company. So cute!

The 3rd and 4th page. They took me almost a whole day to decorate them. I was stuck by these two pattern paper. I love these two paper, but they just didn't go well together. After several tries and failed, finally I had to use a vellum cardstock to separate the busy floral pattern on the right. 

I made an envelope tucking some embellishments and page flags inside.

Honestly, I was exhausted decorating this page, so I kept it simple. XD.

I made a garland using glitter and gold foil washi tape. And them I stamped the cute little bunny with MFT stamp set, colored with color pencils and then used the coordinating die to cut it out.

In order to take this month's MHC challenge, I made a shaker tag using WRMK fuse tool and a page protector. Filling some sequins and decorating with some stickers and die-cuts, DONE!

在上一篇的貼文裡有提到flipbooks. 我趁著這幾天連假又做了第二本flipbook. 這一次使用了薄荷綠, 金色, 灰色和淡粉色作為整本flipbook的主色調。剛好魔力手作挑戰這個月的題目是搖搖卡，於是做了一張小卡呼應。



搖搖卡(shaker card / shaker tag)是用WRMK的魔法相片口袋工具組(fuse tool)和透明文件資料袋做的，如果妳/你剛好不知道甚麼是fuse tool, 可以搜尋一下youtube影片，這是一個必備的好工具!(這不是一篇勸敗文，這不是一篇勸敗文，這不是一篇勸敗文)

小卡上面的sweet是用kesi art的刀模切出來的，小鴨子和小熊則是市面上的書局買得到的貼紙。搭配在一起是不是超可愛的!!!! 大心。搖搖卡用迷你小木夾夾著，收到的人可以拿下來再利用。

封面是清爽的薄荷綠搭配金色，這整本小書的美編紙和許多圖卡都是來自Heidi Swapp的九月天空系列(September Sky)，我非常喜歡這個系列，不論是紙本還是圖卡，甚至印章和主色調的噴瓶我都有買。Heidi家的噴瓶有細微的珠光，顏色非常漂亮，想購入噴瓶的人可以參考一下她的設計(這不是一篇勸敗文，這不是一篇勸敗文，這不是一篇勸敗文) 。happy是用mama elephant的刀模切出來的。(我已經寫不下去了怎麼辦?!)

這本flipbook其實有點難產，花了不少時間和心思來做，除了花時間自己做小配件之外，主要是因為我選的美編紙放錯順序，導致第3頁和第4頁的花色衝突，在做好了拆掉，拆了又做之後，最後決定加入水晶卡來區隔，幸好最終出來的成品還可以，不然這本得被我丟在一邊等待哪天回收利用了   囧

為了避免有勸敗的嫌疑，我決定放照片就好.......

這真不是為了偷懶......

這就是讓我苦思冥想了一天的第3頁第4頁。沒想到水玉和花卉竟然這麼不合群，完全不聽我指揮，明明應該是絕配啊..... 最後我不得不當拆散人家姻緣的劊子手，拿張水晶卡把兩頁分開，於是我又多了兩頁要裝飾........

這一頁除了搖搖卡之外，我最喜歡的就是小兔子了。印章和刀模是來自My Favorite Things(MFT)，為了要展現出水彩的效果，我用油性鉛筆上色。是的，客倌你沒看錯，是油性鉛筆，不是水彩。淺色水印印台蓋印之後先用水筆沾水沿著圖案邊緣抹一圈，淡化圖案的線條，然後挑幾個顏色柔和的油性鉛筆上色。

水桶裝番茄的圖案是貼紙，剛好也是水彩風，所以我把圖案和隔離紙一起剪下來貼到其他卡紙上再一次剪下來，小兔子也只是點上一點膠，這樣貼紙就可以給收到的人用了。

Card making / A couple of cards to share

    Hello crafty friends, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I've been quite busy these days, but I finally got some time to make cards! Yay! 

    I have a couple of cards to share today. I love surfing on the internet to see talented crafters' projects and learn some tricks and tips or great ideas from them. I cased some cards that really inspired me with a little bit twist. You can see those cards here, here and here. 

    For the first card, I used a mama elephant stamp set called Free Style Florals. I stamped some flowers and leaves on a white cardstock, did some copic coloring, and then fussy cut them out. I made my own background pattern paper with a  "thankful" image from Studio Calico using Fog dye ink from Simon Says Stamp. And then I assembled my flowers and leaves with some glue and pop dots. Finished off my card with some gold sequins.

 For the second card, I started off with stamping tomato image randomly using Berry Sorbet and New Leaf ink pads from PTI.  And then stamped some sentiments using Enchanted Evening and True Black ink from PTI as well. I rounded my card corner with my WRMK corner chomper, glued the card panel with an angle onto my cardbase. I then stamped a sentiment and withe embossed it on a black cardstock, and cut it off. Finishing off this card with Rock Candy stickle from Ranger.

   For the last one, I blended in Aqua Mist, Spring Rain ink pad with Tim Holtz mini blending tool. Die cut the panel with the stitched frame from MFT Blueprint 21#. And then I dry embossed the card front with a WRMK embossing folder.  Die cut some starts with MFT Stitched Stars die from pattern paper and vellum cardstock. I also cut "AWESOME" from a black cardstock using a Studio Calico die. I put everything together on my embossed card front, embellished with a blue button and some white sequins.

    最近趁著放假的空檔做了幾張卡片，製作的靈感來自幾個很喜歡的作品，有興趣的人可以去看看這幾個作品。 here, here and here.

    第1張卡片我選了Yana 的作品。Yana是一個非常棒的彩印人，同時身兼好幾個品牌的設計團隊，像是大家熟悉的Hero Arts, Spellbinders, Simon Says Stamps 及Altenew等。她的用色很摩登，非常具有現代感，我常覺得歐洲的彩印人使用的配色很有特色，相比起美國的彩印人來說，用色通常偏向大膽，鮮豔，具有強烈的現代感的配色; 我個人很喜歡這種配色，去年剛接觸到Yana的作品時簡直太開心了。說到配色的大膽，同樣是喜歡使用黑色的Amy Tangerine，她的作品裡的黑色是溫柔的，有童趣的感覺，而我非常欣賞的另一位歐洲彩印人Nanant的作品呈現的黑色便非常有強烈的視覺衝擊，但又不具攻擊性，很有畫龍點睛的效果   (歪樓了......囧)

   我用了mama elephant的印章蓋了花朵和樹葉，用copic markers上色，然後剪下來備用 (係地，人客妳沒看錯，用剪刀剪下來的，這組印章有搭配的刀模，但我沒買到......囧，只好回歸原始的手工剪)。選個字章用Simom最淺的灰色 fog印台蓋滿整張卡紙，然後把剛才剪下來的花草樹葉拼貼在卡紙上，再貼到底紙上就完成了。

    第2張卡片是看了這個作品之後依樣畫葫蘆case了一張卡片。我用了Wplu9同系列的番茄印章蓋在卡紙上，然後一樣挑了幾個字章直接蓋在番茄上，然後貼到A2尺寸的卡紙上就好了。很簡單的設計，但是非常漂亮! 這張卡片的重點是自製的背景紙要用實心的印章(Peggy老師說咱們要有文化一點，這種實心的印章叫做陰刻章)，然後蓋在上面的字章不要太複雜，我試了幾種顏色之後，個人覺得字章用黑色的印台來蓋效果最好。 PS: 我case的這張卡片還有另一個版本，也非常漂亮喔!

    最後一張卡片是從這張卡片得來的靈感。我挑了兩種藍色用海綿刷棒刷色，然後用MFT的購圖小物21#裏的長方形縫線刀模切出逢線邊框，再用WRMK的凹凸版壓出山形紋路。用MFT的星形縫線刀模切美編紙和水晶卡，再用Studio Calico的字形刀模切黑色的卡紙，最後把剛切好的小物拼拼湊湊，再點綴幾個亮片，完成!

    

    題外話，不知道大家有沒有這種經驗啊，很多彩印產品和技法都是從國外來的，在紀錄卡片製作過程的時候總會碰上不知道如何翻譯和稱呼的情況，搞得po個文還要到處去翻找有進這些產品的國內一些商家的平台，免得產生雞同鴨講不知所云的烏龍，難怪我的po文老是難產啊~~~~~~~

Card making and Gift wrapping / More Handmade Challenge 7#

    I bought an air therapy fragrance set as a birthday gift for one of my girlfriend. And I need to made a birthday card for her as well. Here's what I came out with.

I wrapped the bottle with brown paper and sprayed some white spray on it to add some interests and texture to the paper.  

And then I wrapped it with ivory satin ribbon and tied a bow on the top.

I also made a tag to go with it.

To make the tag, I first used some pink hue watercolors to hand draw some stripes, Set aside to let dry. Then I stamped some stars with gold metallic ink on a vellum.  

I died cut "Happy Birthday" 3 times from Brushstroke Birthday Greeting from MFT using black cardstock. I saved the negative of the die cut and used it as my birthday card card front. 

I stacked the die-cuts together to add some thickness and glued it on the tag. To finish the tag, I put a flower on it. Pretty! 

My birthday card is so simple. Just glued the negative part of the cardstock to a A2 size card base. Trim the excess part off. Finishing with some star sequins and wink of stella. Oh, the biggest star is a punch out from a gold cardstock.

The trickiest part of this card is......glue every tiny piece on the card base. It took me some time, but worth it.

    過幾天是一個好朋友的生日，剛好前一陣子好友提到想買水氧機放在辦公室，昨天去百貨公司逛了一圈，水氧機的價位實在不便宜，考慮再三，最後買了一組伊聖詩的室內香氛組作為生日禮物，因為自己也喜歡動手調一些精油來淨化空氣和消毒殺菌，所以我想竹枝擴香的香氛是個不錯的選擇，做了點簡單的包裝，並作了一張生日卡。

    首先量好香氛組的尺寸，裁好牛皮紙備用，如果想在牛皮紙上做一些裝飾的人，在開始包裝之前就要先處理牛皮紙，因為自己是先包裝好之後覺得太單調，事後才作了裝飾，要是大家也想動手自己包禮物的話，這個步驟就可以拿一些喜歡的印章來蓋印了。如果手邊沒有印章的人，也可以拿市售的圓形或愛心，或星型的標籤紙貼在上面，這樣也是簡單大方的自製包裝紙喔!

    包好禮物之後，接著來做禮物小卡(本來是沒打算作生日卡片才想到附一張小卡就好，卡片完全就是個意外! 哈! ) 我用深深淺淺的粉紅色水彩畫了一些線條在卡紙上，放到一邊等乾。然後拿星星印章沾金色印台蓋在水晶紙上，等它乾(一定要等乾啊!不然不小心星星就毀了!別問我怎麼知道的....囧)，

    趁水彩和蓋印乾的時間，拿出生日快樂的刀模和黑色的卡紙過大人物，我切了三次的字模，然後把字組合在一起，這樣看起來比較立體。最後將剛剛的水彩線條和蓋印的水晶卡紙裁出想要的大小，打個洞，加上紙繩和花作裝飾就完成了!!

    黑色的生日快樂卡是拿剛剛過刀模剩下的卡紙貼在白色卡紙上，剪掉多餘的部分，然後用星星打洞器打一個金色的星星貼在卡片上，最後再用星星型的亮片裝飾；我還用了wink of stella稍微點綴一下卡片。  這張都是星星的卡片剛好就被我拿來參加本月份的魔力手作挑戰了!

    To start off, I died cut my card front by MFT Blueprints 21#.  I then used the long stars stamp from PTI's Around and About stamp set to make my card base. I banded the stamp with a curve and inked with couples of inks: Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Harvest Gold, and Melon Berry.

And then I died cut my stamped cardstock with MFT Peek-a-boo Circle Windows.  I also cut a piece of fun foam to raise my card so that it added some thickness to my sequins.  After pouring some sequins and beads, I closed my window with a piece of pattern paper from Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection for American Craft.

Then I stamped a couple of images on another piece of white cardstock using Studio Calico stamp set, Just for you stamp set by Neat and Tangled, and then I fussy cut them out.  I put some foam dots to raise the cat and the yellow balloon. I glued the card front to a A2 size Kraft cardstock.

Isn't it cut? I love the cheerful colors and images.

參加了這個星期的MFT構圖挑戰

剛好這兩天在做魔力手作挑戰的星星卡，就以星星為背景做了一張搖搖卡

首先將PIT的長條形星星印章彎出一些弧度貼在水晶塊上，然後挑幾個顏色可愛的印台蓋幾條星星，有點像派對上裝飾用的花環

然後用MFT的刀模切出圓形的缺口，我切了一片手工藝用的泡棉卡貼在卡紙後面

這樣等一下放亮片和珠珠的時候就不會貼在卡片上面

我發現用手工藝泡棉比用雙面泡棉好用多了

第一，省! 

(哈哈~ 手作這個坑可是很燒錢的，要想盡辦法省，感謝珍妮佛小姐的巧思)

第二，用泡棉的話不用擔心亮片和珠珠黏在雙面膠上面

我之前做搖搖卡時常發生這個問題，用了泡棉之後珠珠和亮片一個個都很獨立

第三，大面積的泡棉可以支撐整張卡面，不會出現沒有雙面泡棉的地方會凹下去的情況

等搖搖卡做好後，剩下的就是裝飾啦

我用Studio Calico和Neat and Tangled的印章蓋了貓咪和氣球

用剪刀剪下來後貼在卡片上面

是不是很有party的fu啊!
